GB's 5 speed kit is $750. A little bit steep, but you get a tranny with a close ratio 1st and 2nd, rated to over 350lb/ft of torque, plus the famed GB quality. You need to send in your ring and pinion to get the shafts lengthened, but the labor is included in the kit price. This kit gives race durability, all the advantage of a close ratio four speed, with the overdrive for easy freeway driving. If you decide to go for it, let us all know how you like it.
