Dude, way ahead of ya...and I've noticed they're all married.
Many, many moons ago, when I graduated high school, is when I received the
family car. My parents assisted my younger sister in the purchase of a horse,
roughly $500. Since this was quite a bit (for our family) my parents wanted to
be fair and help me in some similar fashion (growing up with the phrase "life
isn't fair", then my parents making such an offer and I not even thinking about
"what about me", I was rather puzzled at their decision, anyway...). Since I
had bought all the computer equipment I needed (back when the Commodore64 ruled
:) they didn't know what to do. My dad wanted to get rid of the VW since they
had recently purchased a used company car. Since I was the only family member
to care and service the VW loyally (washing and oil changes) my mom suggested
that they just give her to me. The rest is history.
So, I received my baby for free, but it's SMRP (Suggested Maternal Retail Price)
was $500.

Also, I have noticed something on this list. There seem to be many women
that adore VW's out there....It would be an absolute DREAM come true if I
could find one of those as well! ;) So if you know any of those that are
available also, let me know! ;)
Thanks to everyone for the great advise!
