This happened to me, Cooper, and in my case the culprit was a fried wire in the main wiring harness that ran back from the fuse box to the voltage regulator under the rear seat. I opened up the wiring harness and was easily able to spot the bare copper wire and the few strands of melted, stinky blue insulation. It was an easy fix. And cheap, considering that the auto electric shop quoted me $500 to $700 to do the job! I hope your problem is as easy to spot and repair as mine was. Good luck... Phil dillard@suu.edu
