Amanda, it seems that you were the real winner in this deal. Let him keep the car for (?) long and then go offer him $200 for it! ( I got my fastback that way for that price, but it took over a year to do it.) Your $700 will buy a much better vehicle than this one if you are patient. The car you were looking at would cost a small fortune to restore. I think his deal stinks (just my "two scents" worth).
