The saga continues.....

Hi all. Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in the squareback in
Md. It's outside of Frederick, can be towed, and it's cheap because A)
we paid that for it, and B) it HAS to be gone by next weekend. The guy
who owns the shop (where it lives in the grass) is selling all, and we
can't bring it here because we live in a complex that requires all cars
to be registered (in other words, no driveway or garage). Oh, and it
doesn't have a title with it, so a search will have to be done (unless
you're good w/ a rivet gun...wink, wink) I don't know what the best way
to choose an adoptive parent is. I refuse to say "to the highest bidder"
because that goes against my VW upbringing. I believe I will do this....
Anyione who can REALLY get it out of MD by next weekend who wants to buy
the car, please e-mail me w/ a number between 1-100, and a phone # if
you want to be notified immediately by the Prize Patrol if you've won.
(And you thought only Ed McMahon got the good lines!) I have written
down a # and given it to my beautiful assistant, Ted. The person w/ the
closest number gets to adopt the car. Won't this be fun? Democracy at
its best!!! :) I will announce our lucky winner Sunday night. But you
HAVE to be able to retrieve the car by the end of the day next Sunday.
Good Luck, and thanks again to everyone who's opened their homes to this
car. We hope to place her soon. -Trish ;)
