To make a perfectly fitting adapter for your Uni-Syn, get a chunk of 
standard 2-inch PVC drainpipe at your local home center, cut it to 1-3/4 
inches in length, and finish the cut edge on a belt sander. This shorter 
adapter lets you get the wide body of the Uni-Syn *under* the edge of 
the deck, so it's a lot easier to hold a tight seal. I used a juice can 
years ago, and it got the job done, but this is a lot better and will 
last forever.
