Hey T3ers, I attended the IVWA Bug Bash in Farmington, NC today. Boy was it hot! But on the plus side, there were a lot more people, cars, and vendors there today than the last bash I attended. As for T3s, there were a total of 2 in the show and 2 "needs restoration" fastbacks for sale in the parking lot. In addition to my '66 squareback, a really sweet '67 baltic blue notch was there. It was totally restored, mostly stock except for the interior and rims. It drew lots of attention. My find of the day was a T3 parcel tray in good condition for $40. One of the more interesting things I saw today was a 1964 (?) T3 sales brochure, approx. 20 pages long, large format, in French for the Canadian market. Featured prominently was a beautiful picture of a tan CABRIOLET NOTCH. What a beauty, if only it had ever come to be. I enjoyed looking at the brochure, but the $65 price tag was a bit steep for me. I also saw a nice EMPI steering wheel go for $300. Thanks also to the person who mentioned the window scrapper replacement article in the Aug. 1993 Hot VWs. I bought a copy of it today to see if it looked feasible for my car. Chris Parker '66 Squareback
