I never thought it had anything to do with the sex or the skill of the
passing driver, or the age of the car. More of a macho thing with the
driver that is being overtaken.

I think it just has to do with some drivers who don't watch their
speed very well. Any time they find they're being passed, they wake
up and notice that they could be going faster. The only way to get
past these people is to have a good head of steam up before you
actually start to come by.

What do you think of drivers that just like to cruise along
nonchalantly, permanently in the left lane?

i dont know if this happens to you guys but here in sacramento its an every
day thing.. but when i seem to pass these guys in their lowered hondas and
integras its all of a sudden light to light drag race in the middle of rush
hour... i dont know is it just that they see a raked notchback and they think
im some kinda race car? or do they just have something to prove(like these
japanese cars arent as great as they seem, how many 35 year old hondas do you
see in as good of condition as many vw's) well i just dont know?
