Are you talking about a tuneup tach? If so, I think most such tachs
are voltage-independant. It should work just fine on either voltage.
A dashboard tach may be different. If it has a wire that needs to be
run to a 12V source (other than just to light a lamp) then you are
porbably out of luck.
I'm guessing here.
