Your transmission is fine, you just need a new clutch. Not necessarily
cheap, but simple.

Well, it looks real bad for my car. At least to the uninformed ME with the
wild imaginations and the legacy of bad luck.
Tonight my car started losing power, first slowly...I thought I may have
knocked a spark plug wire loose the other day. Befoe long it was 0 to 60
in four minutes...then I couldn't top 35. Within about 20 miles, I lost
all power. My engine idles just as always, but the transmission just
doesn't seem to engage anymore.
haha I'm so glass-is-half-full, I just KNOW you're not gonna tell me my
transmission is fried..right? RIGHT??.
Please let me know what you think cause I don't wanna tow it to Wolfsburg
without an idea if I can afford this right now, They don't have much space
and will probably charge me an hourly storage rate. :P
I know this is a rather vague question....if anyone can/will help me but
needs more info, could you please try catching me online tonight? My car
is at a Shell just waiting to be vandalized. My ICQ number is 974089 or I
may be on Efnet - my nickname is Pshano. If all else fails, e-mail...
Thanks gang, you're the greatest....
