Jumping a 6-volt car with a 12-volt battery

Thanks for all the feedback from everyone.

For those interested, the basic result of all the feedback was this:
Don't ever do it!

If you must do it in an emergency, follow these tips:
1. Turn off all accessories - lights, radio, etc.
2. Get an assistant.
3. Hook up the negative cables and the positive cable to the 12-volt
battery
4. While you are cranking with the 6-volt battery (or while you are just
holding the key in the cranking position), have the assistant touch (not
clip) the positive cable to your 6-volt battery positive terminal.
5. As soon as the car starts, have the assistant pull away the jumper
cable.
6. Rev the motor to get those 7-volts from the generator going!

Thanks,
