I got the engine back in my SB and I finally got it started, seems to runs Ok but when you let the clutch out there is a horrible, loud squeeling noise. And the Clutch doesn't seem to even disengage the engine from the transmission. The guy that rebuilt it put a new clutch plate on it and he thought that it should still work Ok. And the clutch feels like you are pushing against nothing even though the arm on the trans is moving and then it gets REAL hard to push after a few inches. I have tried adjusting the wignut on the clutch arm all the way in and all of the way out and everywhere in between but it only changes the amount of easy movement that I have. Any sugestions, I plan on dropping the engine again either today or tommorrow. Thanks -Jeff- 72 SB
