Have you checked your fuel pump lately?

It has probably died.  

Pull the fuel hose from the carb, point it out of the engine
compartment, get a friend to turn the ignition for a second or two.

Did it squirt?  Should have squirted a distance equal to about the width
of the engine compartment.

If not, replace the pump or rebuild it.

Also check the various fuel filters.
