Derrick,
I have 195/60/15's in the rear of my 69 fastback. I have stock
wheels. I had 8-spokes with 195/60/15's and I rubbed. I would barely
rub only when I hit a large bump. I would imagine that you would rub
all of the time being lowered two notches. I think I wouldn't have
rubbed if I rolled the lip on the fender. If you can get your 8
spokes with 1/2 or 1 inch less of backspacing I think you will be ok.
If you go whith the regular backspacing for the 8 spokes you find in
the VW mags you will almost certainly rub.

thinking about putting on some 195-50-15's but am curious about hitting
fender. I am planning on getting some 8-spoked rims soon and I know they are
5 1/2 inches wide, so will I have a problem hitting the rear fender with this
set up? Thanks for any adivce!
