You're NOT challenging me!?! ;)

Let me "illuminate" you, (you didn't think I'd let that go, did you?)
Tim's right, the switch contacted when the speedo spins backwards.
Let me "spotlight" a few problems, it only works when IN motion, when
you stop, it turns off. And it doesn't tell the other "dim bulbs"
driving behind you beforehand. Lastly, it pushes the speedo cable
outward by the length of the switch, causing the cable to wear into the
cable tube (whatever you call the outer casing, I'm having a "brown-out"
about the name). Eventually, the cable will bind and break or worse,
causing damage to the speedo.

Also there is another version that bolts inside the tunnel (I'm not sure
if I posted this to the list) it monitors the shift rod for the motion
of shifting into reverse, therefore "highlighting" the fact that you are
backing (that means reverse, Aaron) up.

Is this "watt" you are asking about?

Did this "enlighten" you?

Big "lighting the way" Al
