Like Toby said, you probably need to look closely at your ignition system.
And like Keith said, this car originally had fuel injection if it was sold
in the US. [Keith said NA; is it true that Canadian Type IIIs were FI
68-73? Anybody know if Type IIIs were even SOLD in Mexico--I know Muir says
that FI parts are not available there.] I also agree that you will probably
have to restore the FI before the car will pass Calif smog.
