Re[2]: Purging air - huh?


I'm aware of the contacts and such, but without power to the control 
unit/injectors nothing is going to happen, correct?  Also, isn't it the 
contacts in the distributor that open the fuel injectors?  The control unit 
primarily affects the injectors injection duration (say that five times 
fast!)

     There are a number of electrical contacts in that switch (is it
twenty?); each one you pass through as you push the pedal down causes the
injectors to open.  This device (the throttle position switch) is the
analog of a carb's accelerator pump.

     (Please correct, Jim-meister.  You feelin' the need for a D-Jet
FAQ yet??? :)
