Hey all! I have a '73 squareback, and was fixing the speedo cable last week. While spinning the drivers tire I heard a nasty scraping sound. After pulling off the tire, I noticed that the spring in back of the disk brake pads was broken in two. I removed it, went on vacation, etc. Now I get home to find that the only junkyard around that even HAS a replacement spring wants me to buy the whole caliper. What a ripoff! (The existing caliper, pads, and everything are perfectly fine.) So! Does anyone have an extra spring I could buy? (It's the cross-shaped piece of metal that goes behind the pads and in front of the pins holding the pads onto the calipers.) I would really love to get just this piece and not have to buy the whole damn caliper. The piece is so small (about 3" X 2 1/2" or so...) that I think it could be mailed from just about anywhere. Please get back to me if you can help. I don't want to move the car until I fix this. Thanks alot in advance!!! -mark
