Richard Troy and I made a towbar a couple years ago for me to use when I
towed a T34 back from Colorado with my '66 T34.  It consists of a round tube
with a piece of flat bar at each end and replaces the stock bumper.  A stock
Bug towbar attaches to the round tube.  After the trip we decided that a
stop should have been welded near each end of the tube to prevent the Bug
towbar from sliding back and forth.
