Hi all, one of the right rear wheel bearings on my squareback seems to be shot--when I spin the hub around (wheel & drum removed) it makes a terrible scraping sound and would even kind of bind in places (ack!). I got a set of inner & outer bearings & seals, and I'll be replacing them in a couple of days. Does anybody have any suggestions? I've never done rear bearings before. I do have Bentley & Haynes, naturally; doesn't look too bad. Also, the squareback has a bit of rear-end sag; looks like having things apart enough to do the bearings would be a good time to jack the rear end back up? Or should I just save it for another day? Thanks, -Greg '71 squareback '63 Beetle
