Headlights not working

Hi all....here's my two cents on the headlight problem.  I was 
leaving work a few weeks back at midnight.  I got in my Fastback
and she started fine (as always) and I grabbed the headlight 
switch and the parking lights came on and I thought the headlights.
I was wrong, I made it to the end of the parking lot and made
the wonderful discovery that the headlights were not working.
I grabbed the owner's manual and checked the fuses.  The fuses
were fine and I tried turning the headlight switch on and off to try and
MAKE them come on.  That didn't work.  I finally switched off
the ignition and re-started the car....guess what?  They worked.
That night it was around 10 degrees and I have since found out
that if my ignition switch doesn't turn all the way it doesn't
make contact with the light switch(?).  It has done it since
then and I turn the key slightly until they switch on.  Hope 
this may help out.  Type 3 dreams to all......
