There are hoses under there also; you might as well replace them, too.
There is also a rubber "overflow" hose 311-201-179A which is cracked on ALL
these cars. If it has been driven in the rain with this hose cracked there
will be a significant amount of water in the gas tank. REPLACE IT. It is
located in the RF wheel well, connecting to the rear of the fuel filler pipe
and running into the trunk.

The oil cooler seals CAN be replaced with the engine in place, but it is a
bit of a job to get to them. Get a Bentley manual before you consider doing
this.

The first thing to do is figure out where the oil is coming out. Get a
flashlight and look while the engine is idling. Let us know what you find.

The loss of power could be many things. First do the tune-up. Make sure
both distributor advances are working. Use Bosch parts. Make sure all the
hoses and wires are hooked up right.

If the power loss persists get a cheap pressure gauge and hook it up. Have
a friend watch it while you try your hill. If the pressure drops under load
then you have a fuel supply problem. Start with a new filter, they're cheap.
