Hi,
I installed the fiberglass floors from innovations on a 74 Super Beetle and
they worked out fine.  I did however have to weld in new seats as the old
seats were integrated into the old floor.  I welded electrical J-channel (I
forget the commercial name) as cross braces from the tunnel in the middle to
the side of the body (where the heat goes through), then welded two more
pieces of the J channel perpendicularly to them. The seats fit into the J
channel and were then able to be adjusted front and back.  As a result, the
seats were no longer resting on the floors.
