VERY good idea, but if your into VW's you know this already. ;)

I disagree with this, but my experience may not be the average.

One word:   Ack, Gag, Barf, you get the idea. (on ANY T-3)

I'm not sure where Curtis was going with this, Mechanical ADVANCE
Distributor?  vs. Electronic?   You can use the same FI distributor that
you have.  ESPECIALLY if you have an Automatic Tranny.

Not necessary, If you remove your T-3 FI there is a temperature sensor
located where the non-FI mechanical fuel pump usually lives.  Replace it
with a mechanical, IF you are going with smaller carbs.  If you are
going with bigger carbs, then you might want to look into Curtis'
suggestion.

I'm glad you have had better luck than I did.  I put on Dual, single
barrel 34's and hated the rough idle problem.  Ran crappy until RPM's
reached 2000!  Above this, it was fine though.
