The two windshields are different, but the 68 will fit in the 71 if you
leave out the 4 metal "grip-strips" that are used (in the USA + ?) to hold
the windshield in extra well. These strips were used in 71-73 cars in the US.
The late US windshield is actually a bit smaller all the way around.
