Glad to help and thanks to Jim for his input. Cleaning the injectors with
auto fuel will still dry the steel in the injector and leave it susceptible
to rust IF you will be storing them. So you should still follow Jim's
advice of the light oil if you will be storing them.
As for your other questions I'll leave them to the experts out there as I'm
not an engine builder and haven't really worked on FI for some time. My
gut reaction would be to use the metal gaskets since they could tolerate
the heat better and have a lesser chance of deteriorating. Engine size
(thus heat generation) may have a part in the decision, also. Again,
though, I am not positive which to use.

Great timing, Toby. I have my ring main on the floor and was ready to
give the injectors the carb cleaner treatment. I think I'll just use
gasoline. By the way, I have a pair of metal gaskets for the intake
manifold - do you think they're alright or should paper gaskets be
used? Also, do you use one gasket per side (on the intake port) only,
or an additional one between the plastic injector block and the metal
mounting bracket?
I think a T3 FAQ is a great idea. I'm always deleting items that I'm
sure I'll be wondering about 6 months from now.
