If you look at the section view of a window seal in WCM or similar, you see that the slot for the chrome isn't straight, it's curved. That problem might be overcome. Anyone with a window out, and extra piece of rubber to experiment with? An alignment tool would be needed to both keep the blade at the right distance from the edge, provide the proper angle, and depth.
