I live in Seattle, and I would rank air-cooled predominance as follows:

1.  bug
2. bus (a close second, there are a *lot* here!)
3. ghia
4. type III ( a close 3rd)
5. thing
6. type IV

There *are* more T3s here than any other city I've been to; I'm gonna miss
going to the junkyards and actually finding what I want!  And
yes, we even wave to each other often.  :)

It fun to live here and see all of the old rides still in everyday use
with little or no rust.  There is also quite a large population of old
Volvos here as well.  Being a Squareback owner, I like the old Volvo
wagons.
