rear hatch seal

about this rear hatch seal to all that dont have one. good luck the nos and
german ones are GONE. even the front trunk seal is GONE. the door seals are
getting very scarce. i sell west coast metric in michigan and ive been
trying to restore my 66 sb and ive have to order parts from all over the
place. not a fun project. but some new items are the license light seal for
62-67 SB is now avail. another impossible item. not anymore. also if you buy
crap seals you get crap seals. if there super cheap something is wrong. but
if the guy doesnt know what hes got then BONUS. look at swap meets where
paople are selling off there t-3 parts because of lost interest. the big
parts guys are looking for a seal to replace what is not avail. and yes west
coast metric sells junk seals to. they need to meet demand. they will still
gaurantee for life unlike the others. i dont recommend the seal for the
front hood and rear hatch(sb) unless you only need to decrease the water
intake.  the cal look seals have inproved over the years and fit great. the
ones for american style chrome are sometimes german but pricey. if you want
to go to cal look save your old trim and to protect it leave it in the
rubber just cut the seal out of the car. the seal will prevent it from
getting totally munched. hope this helps. if anyone wants to place a WCM
