My edition of the 1500 parts manual is suppliment 11
which is dated mid '69.
Yes the beading matched the paint, exactly.
The answers to my trivia question came from suppliment 11 stating
"041 black (vehicle color: black)"
and the same goes for the other various colors and their hues. (each
color beading corresponded with the matching color paint.)
The part numbers for the various beading are all the same with a color
adendum (ie. 311 821 705 A 041 for front fender, left, black)
BTW: my list states birch green as 511 not 043, black as 041 not 005,
ruby red as 456 not 028, Gulf blue as 390 not 029, pearl white as 087
not 032 and anthracite as 469 not 039 (? I have no idea ?)

Anyone else have different?
