It is an easy two-step procedure:

1)  Take the engine out.

2) Crawl into the car through the engine bay hole.


I actually did this with our squareback.  Luckily, the engine was already
out when I happened to lock the keys in the car.  Good luck.  You may want
to call a locksmith or stop a police officer who normally carries a slim jim
for locked door emergencies.
