I like this thread...
I've received many complements on my car as well (obviously they haven't
taken a closer look, though), mainly from older men ("We used to have one
of those -- took us everywhere!"). Also, during the warmer times when I
have the rag back, a lot of female schoolers (that's short for someone
attending high school) will wave or give a good stare. I think it's
because: 1) It's a Squareback, thus very different from the run-of-the-mill
hot cars that most male schoolers drive and; 2) It's Bright Orange and,
with being a VW, quite retro. Well, my best friend says I'm sooo silly
because I think it's the car and she says it's me (i.e. the Tight Jeans
theory :)
This ain't fair -- I want my baby to be a +25-year old babe magnet, not an
old man or young schooler one! :(

QUESTION # 1: For those of you who like it both ways, or all three
ways, multiple Type owners that is, which of your cars garnishes the
most unsolicited compliments? Please take into account condition of
your car. Naturally a cherry car will win over a rust bucket on wheels.
QUESTION # 2: Was it my car, or my tight jeans?
