Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but, don't steel radial tires require higher pressures to keep them inflated properly than bias? I know if I put 17 pounds of air in the front tires of my '71 SB, the tires would look flat for one thing and it would probably steer like a flexy-flyer. The original post that started this thread was about the tire pressure specifications in the owners manual versus the pressure recommended by the tire store where the person bought their tires.
