I am not. sure if anybody knows but when did V W stop selling rebuilt engines at there dealers. I might be getting a Mazda RX-7 and I was told to call the dealer to get the 12-a engine by one of the salvage parts companies. And t my amazement Mazda still sells them and they are close to 2,000 Dollars. k so when did they stop selling these engines I think if Mazda is still selling engines for late 70's cars that V W should to Ok so I am standing at a podium Thanks James 68 Square back ( soon to get the knife)
