Well I got my USAA check too, and it was almost $500 !! 

But USAA is a limited franchise -- only military folks are invited.
How long have you been with USAA?  We get a dividend check every year;
hardly unexpected.  But it hasn't been 25% in a while.  That part
was certainly unexpected.  I managed to spend it within 30 minutes
of cashing the check though :-)
