You must undo the bottom bolt from the tranny side with a socket, but 
you must undo the top bolt from the engine side.  That bolt also 
serves as one of the four bolts that holds the engine to the tranny.  
The head of that bolt is specially locked in on the tranny side.  It 
will all be obvious once you get it out and can look at it with the 
starter in the light of day.
