Type III window scraper quality

Dear folks at Cal Import Parts,

a number of us (well, about 275 of us, to be exact!) on the VW Type
III e-mail list were quite excited when you offered Type III window
scrapers for about US$40--it's great to see such great pricing and support
for Type IIIs!

However, there have been some reports regarding the quality of
these scrapers; below is an example of some recent discussions on our
e-mail list:

Can you offer any insight into the quality of these parts and how
they compare to those offered by West Coast Metric (at a much higher
price), and perhaps add any tips regarding installation? I see that the
staff at Cal Imports are all VW nuts, so would imagine that you've used
these on your Type IIIs.

What's the scoop? Convince us that you can provide us with
high-quality scrapers at a great price! We'd all love to buy them at that
price... but not if they don't do the job.

Regards,
-Greg Merritt
