Thought I would share some wheel experiences with you. On my 1964
standard throughout 1500 'S' Notchback which is lowerred approx 2 inches
all round I have had 5 spoke empi wheels all round with no rubbing with
145 fronts and 165 rears and that was with 5.5inch wheels. I now have
flat-4 BRM's on the car and because of the bastard offset which suits my
1956 oval just fine, the 165 rears on the 5 inch BRM's does touch the
body. I actually had to carefully bend the fender lips at the back to
drive the car. the front is still okay with the 145. Yes the car is for
looks not for handling hence the 145 front. Looks damn cool too. If
anyone wants a picture mailed to them tell me!
