On Saturday, December 6th, at 16:31, my yellow 71' squareback coughed and sputtered itself back to life. 9 years it had been since she had felt the rich octane flow through her viens...after 5 minutes of smoke James Bond would be proud of she settled down into a nice burbly idle, and smoked no more. She moved under her own power out of Intenisive Care (the back yard) into stable condition (the driveway) for the rest of her repairs. Oh, happy day!!!! A few questions now: 1) I think my girlfriend left one of the blake bleeders open last week, because i now have NO fluid in there at all. I know how to bleed air out, but how do I put in fluid when there is none???? 2) I would just like to say I hate those crimped on FI connectors. 3)Any advice on what else i should do to baby it?? here's how my plan looked.... Change the oil (check) Get started (check) let it run for a hour Change the oil again thereafter change the oil normally Sound good?? On a thankfull note- Thanks!! Everyone!!! All of you have helped me beyond beleif!! i know my work is not done, but I'm out of the tunnel!! A Big thanks goes to that person who sent me the early fuel pump. Who are you?? Your my hero. hee-hee!! -rj -71 Squareback- name pending -63 notch- seloing this weekend -66 fastback- traded for.... -72 camper
