I came across some original Texron pads a few years ago that also had
this damping material on the backs. These were OE Porsche 914 pads
so I expected them to be great.
Great disappointment. I never could get them to stop squealing. I
remain convinced that it has nothing to do with anything except the
pad material, which we can never tell without trying.
