Just a reminder that the Bass Pro Shops company picnic will be Sunday, Sept. 7 in Springfield, MO. They have invited GROOVE (local VW club) to display VWs as this is their 25th anniversary and the theme is Bass Stock or "1972". Bring your VW and dress in appropriate 1972 garb and you will be allowed in for very nice time. Free food, games, prizes, $75 People's Choice Award (gift certificate to Bass Pro), sky-diving demo, etc. This is a very nice event in a beautiful setting. Bring an air-cooled VW and join the fun!
