Hello All, I am the not so excited owner of a '71 or '72 Fastback. Just struck a deal with a guy to buy it. It is pretty trashed: rusted in ALL the regular places, interior pretty hashed, cracked dash.... But it has a rebuilt engine with ten miles on it. It has been converted from FI to the stock dual carbs. My engine is running fine, but thought a spare to stuff in just in case of a problem would be nice (maybe in the front luggage compartment, since I already have a spare in the back! hehe). But even for a diehard restorer as myself, this is doomed to a recycling center to be reincarnated into a Ford or Chevy. It is just too far gone. If anyone has any needs, let me know. Will be stripping it to the bone if things go as planned. I saw it about 6 months ago and don't remember much. Will be also getting the usual collection of misc. from the guy.
