Thanks for the info on the FI tester. Just ran into a problem with valve adjustments thought I'd pass on. My son's '68 FB had the valves adjusted less than 2,000 miles ago for a CA smog check which it passed. I checked the mechanic's work and all were just right at about .006. Within the last 500 miles the car started to run VERY poorly and one cyl had only 60 pounds pressure. I thought we needed a complete engine, if not a valve job. Anyway, I checked the valve adjustments and ALL were less than .003 and the one weak cyl valves wouldn't close. After a proper adjustment the cyl and FB are again just fine. I guess it was those 100 degree days we had but watch those adjustments in the heat of the summer!
