I first did this ~17 uears ago and currently have one on the road and one in the works. The original one has been retired, but it would be good following a valve freshening. I did a CAD drawing a few years ago to help me with this. Now I have everything I need to put this in the mill and remove the minimum material necessary. Different amounts need to be removed depending on whether you go with the standard cover or the pressure relief cover. I could send you an AutoCad file, or mail a hardcopy. I could also do the modification here if you're not in a big hurry. Shouldn't be too expensive. I have several of these around and I should just convert some for stock on an exchange basis. I like putting the filter base on the left side of the crossbar also, because this allows the whole assembly to be attached to the engine. This way you can do all the plumbing on the workbench.
