I once brought my Fastback in to have tires put on my steel rims. I
told the service write that the tires were in the back seat and the rims
were in the Rear trunk. He even put it on the ticket. I was surprised
when I came back the tires weren't mounted. I asked the service write
what the problem was and he told me the only rim he could find was the
spare tire and since that was a new rim with new tire he didn't want to
screw with it. He told me that he checked personally! I asked him to
walk out and have a look with me. I brought him right to the rear and
he said isn't the engine in there? I said yeah right under the REAR
TRUNK. I was running late but I still got a kick out of it.

I have a 6 month old son, and whenever I go grocery shopping a bagger is
kind enough to help me load my car. I always do marathon shopping - little
trips aren't so convenient anymore with baby in tow! - so groceries end up
in both trunks and usually the back seat too. They aren't too suprised when
I open the hood, and then loading up the back seat. But I always get a kick
out of their faces when I open the back trunk! hehe
