The wrench in question is to take off the vacuum modulator we had been talking about. Grind 20 or 22 mm (can't remember which at this moment) open end wrench until it will fit between modulator and tranny case enough to get modulator loose. Dave had said something about his modulator leaking but that his tranny was leaking else where. I have discovered on all the later model auto trannys that the o-ring seal between the final drive unit and the automatic portion all get very hard and flat and cause that never ending pink puddle under the auto T3's. I replaced many pan gaskets before I discovered this. Finding the seal can be a little fun but if the engine is out it is not much more work to drop the tranny, four bolts to seperate the halves and change the seal. Then put it all back. Sounds fun eh?
