PDSIT's, JC Whitney FWIW

Cayson, I have a Haynes manual w/ the exploded views your looking for,
if you're still interested. I can copy them for you, then scan and
forward ( my scanner is only up to 5 x 7", so there might be some
fudging involved), let me know if you want them. Nice meeting w/ you at
the Pompano show, I walked out w/ handfuls of stuff too, a NOS fan boot,
a set of elephant feet adjusters, some used interior stuff. I'm going to
try for the West Palm show in June, more scrounging. I got some pics of
that '68 Auto Notch, I'll try to send them to Greg to show everyone. I
had been trying to get that same car for a few years, but the guy who
bought it persevered. The car is unrestored, BTW, can you believe it? I
sold the same guy my '63 1500N Notch years ago, I had heard it was
totaled, he said it's falling apart in a warehouse in Hialeah. I did
get a good lead on a Notch for parts, and one for sale, so I have to
follow up on those. Just my two cents, and that's not much, but my
feeling is that JC Whitney doesn't know their arse from a hole in the
ground. I have ordered and sent back-at my expense- enough parts to
never order from them again. So much for good deals. I would rather
spend a little more and get the right part the first time from now on.
Too many quality companys out there to play that game.
David " I used to be disgusted, but now I'm just amused" Walters
