I agree with Greg's estimation on this project. I wouldn't pay that
much.

I also think I saw a Fastback at the Michigan Bug Out that could've been
this car. I don't know maybe not-Where's your location? The one in
Michigan was pretty sad.

It too had a type one motor almost hanging by a thread with hardly any
support.

I can also say with experience that all these little repairs add up
extremely fast. Which spells a lot of money.

As Greg pointed out, what is your aim: to have a good solid car for as
little as possible, or having the intimate knowledge of doing a full
restoration?

Heavy rust, especially on the rockers, that has been neglected can be a
definite nightmare.
