Kelley Park, San Jose Historical Museum, this coming Sunday.

Last year a guy came to gate about 20 minutes before the end and said he had
driven down from Clear Lake (about 150+ miles) to sell his completely
original '63 Notch. All the parts were there and in really nice condition -
interior, trunk liner, trim, etc. He wanted $1400 for it. I told him that
the show was almost over but if he wanted to pay the $10 to get in he was
welcome. He barely got in the gate before he was mobbed by prospective
buyers. I even had to ask him to move further inside because other people
were starting to leave. God, how I wish I had been able to afford it!

At the same show a friend of mine bought an original, unrestored '62 Ghia
convertible for a pretty good price. It was in good enough condition for my
friend to take it on a trip up the Oregon coast later in the summer.

Good hunting.
