TIII,

I don't know if Greg will allow us to offer parts for sale over this
medium, but I will run the gauntlet anyway.  I mailed some questions about
lenses (thanks for the replies) and then I checked the storage attic at the
VW shop that I sort of live in and voila!  I found some old TIII parts,
including lenses, seals and housings.  Unfortunately, not for my model year
Squareback.  I did not get through all of it, so I will have to keep
looking (the place is huge, full of spare parts for all aircooled VWs and
is in complete disarray).

These are for sale if anyone is interested.  The parts had no prices listed
on them (only dust), so make an offer if you like.  Other details can be
worked out later.

1 pr. rear turn signal lenses + housings (can had with them or separately):
1971 and later Squareback (the huge style signals).  Good condition, i.e.,
no cracks just needs some cleaning.  All connectors present and accounted
for.

1 engine management gauge for TIII (gas gauge, high beam indicator, TS
indicator ...): grey face, stamped with, "4/71" on the side.  Excellent
condition (found wrapped in a zip lock bag).

1 engine management gauge for TIII (same as above): black face, stamped
with, "2/72" on the side.  Good condition.

1 metric speedo for TIII: red needle, good conditon.  I do not know what
year it is (1966 or earlier?).

Assorted front turn signal indicator housings: in various states of
condition, the rectangular kind.  Need cleaning.

OK, these may not be the rarest of the rare, but anyway, they are not
making any T3 owner happy by sitting in a dry, dusting storage space.
There was more, I however, failed to bring the sheet of paper with that had
all of the info written on (hello!).
